A skilled automobile sales executive and consultant in New Jersey, Patrick Dibre possesses three decades of experience in the automotive retail industry. Patrick Dibre serves as the president and CEO of PSD Automotive Group, a holding company for retail locations in six states. These dealerships include Volkswagen of Huntington in New York, which received the Wolfsburg Crest Club Award for five consecutive years.

Presented by Volkswagen of America, Inc., the Wolfsburg Crest Club Award recognizes Volkswagen dealers across the country that achieve the highest sales and service standards. Recipients represent an elite group that distinguish themselves from other dealerships through commitment to excellent performance and customer satisfaction. Dealerships can earn points toward the coveted award through categories such as customer care, professionalism, dealership milestones, and highest certified pre-owned sales.

The Wolfsburg Crest Club Award is named after the town of Wolfsburg in Germany, where the franchise was first established. Created in 1938, the town was initially meant to house workers for new Volkswagen factories and was given the name “Wolfsburg” in May 1945.

Nissan Set to Deliver New Z Series and GT-R Sports Coupe Models

Patrick Dibre serves as the president of PSD Automotive Group, a New Jersey-based network of dealerships encompassing Volvo, Honda, Volkswagen, and Chrysler brands. Among the dealerships that Patrick Dibre leads, five have achieved recognition as among the “Top 50 Dealers in the World” from Nissan.

With the Nissan GT-R representing a top-range sports coupe, the model is reaching a decade milestone and moving toward the end of its functional life. A new GT-R is in the works and reported to incorporate new engine, powertrain, and platform spec. According to one report, an electric vehicle is a distinct possibility, with the additional weight of motors and batteries offset by more lightweight materials.

Another iconic Nissan, the 370Z, is nearing retirement, with the company announcing that it would be replacing the rear-wheel-drive two-seater next year. The new Z car is likely to roll out in late 2019 in time for the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Marking the 50th anniversary of the Z series, the upgraded vehicle is likely to include a larger engine taken from the Infiniti.

Honda Civic Type R Earns Recognition from BBC Top Gear

In late 2017, the Honda Civic’s highest-performance model, the Type R, received recognition from the internationally renowned auto magazine BBC Top Gear as its “Car of the Year.” Leadership from the magazine called it “addictive” and “a true hero for the masses,” based on not only its top speed of 169 mph and its 2.0-liter VTEC Turbo engine, but also its economic accessibility and everyday usability.
